The Autoterm TENERE PERFORMA 3D60 is a compact 12V hydronic fan matrix for warming cabin air in motorhomes, campervans, caravans, work vehicles and suitable marine installations. It transfers heat from a closed coolant circuit into moving air, then sends that warm air through three 60mm duct outlets.
This is not a stand-alone diesel heater. It needs a compatible hydronic heat source, circulation system, 12V electrical supply and correctly designed warm-air ducting. It is intended for use with the Autoterm Flow 5D 12V hydronic heater.

The matrix does not create 6.05kW of heat by itself. Actual cabin output depends on the heat source, coolant temperature and flow, inlet-air temperature, duct resistance and fan setting. When paired with a 5kW Flow 5D, the completed system remains limited by the heat available from that heater and the rest of the installation.
How it works
Hot coolant passes through the internal heat exchanger while the 12V fan draws cabin air across the core. The warmed air leaves through the three front outlets for distribution through suitable 60mm ducting. This separates the combustion heater from the cabin-air circuit and gives installers flexibility when positioning outlets.

Flow 5D plumbing check
The 12V Flow 5D heater uses 18mm coolant connections, while this fan matrix uses 16mm connections. Your installer should plan the correct coolant hose, reducers or adaptors, clamps, circulation direction, expansion provision and bleeding points. Do not assume every required plumbing part is included.
Installation guidance
- Mount the matrix securely by the intended upper or lower fixing points. Do not drill into the housing.
- Provide a clear cabin-air inlet and enough service access for coolant hoses, wiring and duct bends.
- Use coolant hose and clamps suitable for the application, follow the preferred flow direction and pressure-test the circuit for leaks.
- Secure the 60mm ducts so the warm-air system is airtight and cannot contact heat-sensitive materials.
- Protect the unit, wiring and connections from water, contamination and physical damage.
- Use correct circuit protection and have the hydronic, electrical and duct system installed or checked by a suitably experienced technician.

Frequently asked questions
Will this work with the Autoterm Flow 5D?
It is listed for use with the 12V Flow 5D. The completed system still needs correctly sized coolant plumbing, circulation, electrical wiring and warm-air ducting. Note the Flow 5D's 18mm connections and the matrix's 16mm connections when planning the hose layout.
Does this unit burn diesel?
No. It is a water-to-air heat exchanger with a 12V fan. The separate Flow 5D or another compatible hydronic heat source heats the coolant.
Are there three independently controlled heating zones?
There are three 60mm air outlets, but airflow balance depends on duct length, bends, grilles and the final layout. Ask your installer to design the distribution rather than assuming equal or independent zones.
Is 60mm ducting included?
The supplier page does not provide a complete inclusion list. Confirm ducting, grilles, switches and plumbing parts with us before purchase.
Why is the matrix rated at 6.05kW when the Flow 5D is a 5kW heater?
The 6.05kW figure is the matrix rating under stated coolant and air test conditions. It does not increase the heater's output. Real cabin heat is limited by the heat source and the completed system.
Can I use it on a 24V electrical system?
This listing is the 12V version, Autoterm assembly FR014. Use the correct 24V model rather than connecting this unit directly to 24V.
