Level your caravan or trailer smoothly without stacking blocks or guessing the height. The Andersen Camper Leveller uses a curved drive-on ramp so you can raise the low side in one controlled movement, stop when the caravan is level, then secure the position with the included Tuff Chock.

This is Andersen Hitches part 3604, suited to New Zealand caravan, motorhome and trailer owners who want a compact levelling kit for campsites, holiday parks and uneven parking areas. It is available from Select Caravans in Auckland for customers throughout New Zealand.

Why choose the Andersen Camper Leveller?

  • Continuous height adjustment: level at any point from 1/2 inch to 4 inches, approximately 13 to 100 mm.
  • No block stacking: drive gradually up the curved ramp and stop at the height you need.
  • Wide caravan and trailer compatibility: Andersen specifies use with trailers and RVs up to 30,000 lb, approximately 13,600 kg, and tyres up to 32 inches, approximately 813 mm, in diameter.
  • Leveller and chock included: each kit contains one Camper Leveller and one matching Tuff Chock.
  • Made in the USA: backed by Andersen Hitches' lifetime warranty.

How to level your caravan

  1. Choose firm, stable ground and follow the safety and parking procedures supplied with your tow vehicle and caravan.
  2. Identify the low side, then place the curved leveller directly in front of or behind that tyre, depending on the direction you need to move.
  3. Keep people clear and move slowly onto the ramp. Watch a spirit level or levelling display and stop as soon as the caravan is level.
  4. Fit the included Tuff Chock against the leveller to hold the selected position. Apply the parking brake and chock other wheels as required by your vehicle or caravan instructions.

The Camper Leveller is designed for campsite levelling. Do not use it as a substitute for an approved jack, axle stand or workshop lifting equipment.

Single axle and tandem axle fit

One kit contains one leveller and one chock. A single axle caravan normally uses one kit on the low side. A tandem axle caravan normally requires one leveller for each axle on the low side, so two kits are typically needed.

Closely spaced tandem tyres can limit the room available between wheels. Andersen advises that its levellers may be trimmed to fit when the units are too long for the available gap. Measure first and follow Andersen's official trimming diagram and instructions before modifying the product. The leveller is 152 mm wide, so also check tyre width and surrounding clearance.

Made for caravan travel around New Zealand

The compact ramp-and-chock design is easy to carry when touring from Auckland to campsites around the North Island and nationwide. On smooth concrete or other hard surfaces, an Andersen rubber pad can provide extra grip. Always assess the site surface, slope, drainage and traction before driving onto any levelling aid.

Frequently asked questions

How much lift does the Andersen Camper Leveller provide?

It provides continuous adjustment from 1/2 inch up to 4 inches, approximately 13 to 100 mm. You stop at the point where your caravan is level rather than choosing a fixed block height.

Does the kit include a wheel chock?

Yes. SKU 3604 includes one curved Camper Leveller and one matching Tuff Chock.

Will it fit my caravan tyres?

Andersen specifies tyres up to 32 inches, approximately 813 mm, in diameter. Tandem axle owners should also measure the gap between the tyres because two levellers need enough room to sit correctly.

How many do I need for a tandem axle caravan?

Two kits are typically required, one for each axle on the low side. Check wheel spacing before ordering.
