EternaPrime is used to prepare surfaces for applicationof all EternaBond tapes. Recommended uses include, butare not limited to, dirty surfaces which are difficult toclean completely (tar and gravel), potentially loosesurfaces (mortar), porous surfaces (wood or concrete), andanytime the EternaBond tape is applied at temperatures below40°F ambient.
Surface Preparation
Surface must be dry. Remove heavy accumulations ofloose rust and scale, dust, talc, and dirt. Oil,grease, and other contaminants should be removed withEternaClean or a non-residue cleaner. Do not useEternaPrime on PVC roofs as reactivation of someplasticizers may occur.
