Connect a caravan or motorhome to a standard New Zealand 10A outlet with a purpose-built, weather-resistant adaptor.
The Ampfibian MINI-PLUS connects a 16A caravan supply lead to a standard 10A mains outlet for temporary use. Its 10A miniature circuit breaker limits the connected load and protects against overloads.
Important: the MINI-PLUS does not convert a 10A supply into 16A. It has MCB overload protection only and does not provide an RCD or personal electric shock protection.

Important safe-use guidance
- Connect the MINI-PLUS directly to a fixed 10A wall outlet. Do not place an extension lead between the wall outlet and the adaptor.
- Connect your caravan or motorhome supply lead to the blue 16A CEE socket.
- Check that the seal is clean and undamaged, then close and latch the lid before switching power on.
- Keep the inside dry, do not immerse the unit and do not use it if the housing, plug, socket or cable is damaged.
- Do not exceed a combined 10A or 2400W load. If the breaker trips, reduce the load. If the cause is unclear, switch off and consult a licensed electrician.
This adaptor is for temporary connection only. Do not use it as a permanent installation or bury it.

Frequently asked questions
Does the MINI-PLUS provide 16A power?
No. The available supply remains limited to a maximum of 10A or 2400W, so some appliances may need to be used separately.
Does it include an RCD?
No. The MINI-PLUS provides MCB overload protection only. It is not a residual-current device.
Can I connect it through an extension lead?
No. The manufacturer instructs users to connect the adaptor directly to the outlet socket.
Can it be used outdoors?
It is rated IP44 when the lid is fully latched, the seal is intact and the inside is dry. Do not immerse it or use it as a permanent installation.
