This near-new Group 27 caravan battery box provides protective storage for a compatible battery in a caravan, RV, trailer, vehicle or boat. It was removed from an imported caravan after the original AGM battery was replaced with a LiFePO4 battery. It is supplied as a used box with a ventilated snap-top lid and securing strap. The battery is not included.

Group-size labels are a useful guide, but battery cases, terminals and cable layouts can vary. Measure the battery body and terminal height, then allow enough clearance for cable bends and safe terminal protection.

Installation and safe use
- Follow the battery and vehicle manufacturer's instructions for enclosure, securing and ventilation.
- Secure both the battery and box so they cannot move during travel.
- Route cables so they cannot chafe, pull on the terminals or become trapped under the lid.
- Protect terminals from accidental contact with tools, fasteners and other conductive objects.
- Inspect the used case, locking tabs and strap before installation. Do not use damaged components.
- Use a suitably qualified installer for permanent caravan or vehicle electrical work.

Is a battery included?
No. This listing is for the used battery box, lid and securing strap only.
Will every Group 27 battery fit?
Not necessarily. Group 27 is the intended size class, but terminal position, case shape and cable clearance can differ. Compare your battery with the 335 x 182 x 256mm internal space before ordering.
Can it be used with an AGM or lithium battery?
The box was previously used with an AGM battery. Suitability for any replacement battery depends on its exact dimensions, terminal layout, chemistry and the battery manufacturer's enclosure and ventilation instructions.
Why is the battery box listed as used?
It was fitted for importing a caravan, then removed when the caravan's AGM battery was upgraded to LiFePO4. It is described as near new, but minor handling marks may be present.
