  • Height: 15.88mm (5/8 inch).

Which option should I choose?

Choose model 2701 when five connection points on each bus are enough. Choose model 2702 when you need up to ten connections on each bus. Both options have the same 100A continuous rating and voltage limits.

Compatibility and installation checks

Confirm the system voltage, maximum continuous current and number of positive and negative connections before ordering. A busbar provides a common connection point; it does not replace the fuses or circuit breakers required to protect individual circuits and cables.

Use conductors and circuit protection appropriate to the installation, and tighten each screw terminal to the manufacturer's specified torque. Blue Sea lists optional insulating covers 2709 for model 2701 and 2710 for model 2702.

Frequently asked questions

What does a dual busbar do?

It places a positive bus and a negative bus on the same block, helping organise multiple electrical connections in one location.

Does the 10-terminal option carry more current?

No. Both options are rated at 100A continuous. The difference is the number of screw terminals available on each bus.

Which cover matches each model?

Blue Sea specifies optional cover 2709 for the five-terminal 2701 busbar and optional cover 2710 for the ten-terminal 2702 busbar. Check cover availability separately.
