Dicor 551LSW non-levelling RV roof lap sealant
Dicor 551LSW is a flexible, HAPS-free white lap sealant for vertical caravan and RV roof joints. Its non-sag formula helps the bead stay in place along roof edges, taller rooftop accessories and termination rails.

Use 551LSW where a sealant bead needs to hold its shape on a vertical surface. For air vents, vent pipes, screw heads and other horizontal roof areas, choose the Dicor 501 self-levelling sealant.
Is Dicor 551 caravan silicone?
Dicor 551LSW is a specialist non-sag caravan and RV lap sealant rather than ordinary household silicone. It is intended for compatible vertical roof seams, edges and termination rails where the bead needs to hold its shape. Always confirm compatibility with the roof membrane and existing sealant.

Application
- Remove dirt, loose paint, rust, oil and grease.
- Allow the surface to dry completely.
- Apply with standard caulking equipment. In cold weather, warm the unopened cartridge to room temperature before use.
Approximate cure times at 10–20°C
- 5 minutes: skins over
- 4 hours: waterproof
- 48 hours: 80% cured
- 30 days: fully cured
Safety information
Flammable liquid and vapour. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Use with adequate ventilation and avoid breathing vapours. Wear suitable eye and skin protection. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; seek medical advice immediately. If the product enters the eyes, rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. Keep the container closed when not in use and dispose of spills and waste in accordance with applicable regulations. Read the product label and safety data sheet before use.
