The Victron Lynx M10 DC distribution system provides a tidy, modular way to connect batteries, chargers, inverter/chargers and high-current DC loads. Choose from the Lynx Power In, Lynx Distributor or Lynx Class-T Power In according to where the module sits in your caravan, motorhome, marine or off-grid electrical system and whether integrated fusing is required.
All three options use the M10 Lynx interconnection format, operate across 9–60VDC and carry up to 1000A continuous. They can be joined with other compatible M10 Lynx modules to form continuous positive and negative tinned-copper busbars. The important difference is the number of circuits and the type of fuse provision.

Lynx Power In M10
The Lynx Power In is the simplest module in this selection. It provides positive and negative busbars with four connections for batteries or DC equipment. It does not contain fuse holders or circuit monitoring, so the system designer must provide correctly rated protection for every connected circuit. Choose it when a clean, high-current connection point is required and fusing is handled elsewhere.
Lynx Distributor M10
The Lynx Distributor combines positive and negative busbars with four MEGA-fuse positions. It monitors each fuse and shows its state through front-panel LEDs. The M10 designation refers to the joints used to interconnect Lynx modules; the cable and MEGA-fuse connections inside the Distributor remain M8.
A 40cm RJ10 cable is included. It powers the Distributor from a compatible Lynx Shunt VE.Can or Lynx Smart BMS. When connected to a Lynx Smart BMS, up to four Distributors can send fuse and operating status for monitoring through VictronConnect, a connected GX device and the VRM portal. Data reporting is not available through the Lynx Shunt VE.Can alone.
Lynx Class-T Power In M10
The Lynx Class-T Power In is intended for high-current battery-side protection. It connects and fuses up to two lithium battery strings and includes positions for two Class-T fuses. The fuses must be selected for the battery, cable and system design and purchased separately. For three or more battery strings, additional correctly designed modules may be required.

Compatibility and installation checks
These listings are the M10 versions. M10 and M8 Lynx modules cannot be connected directly, so confirm the interconnection size of every existing Lynx component before ordering. Also confirm the required fuse format: MEGA fuses for the Lynx Distributor and Class-T fuses for the Class-T Power In. Fuses, cable lugs, battery cables and other Lynx modules are not included unless explicitly stated above.
These are high-current DC components. Cable size, fuse rating, fault-current capability, isolation, grounding, enclosure location and connection torque must be engineered for the complete system. Install the modules in a dry, protected position that respects their IP rating. Battery work and high-current DC installation should be completed by a suitably qualified person using the current Victron manual.

What is the difference between Lynx Power In and Lynx Distributor?
Power In is an unfused four-connection busbar. Distributor adds four MEGA-fuse positions, fuse-status LEDs and monitoring capability when it is connected to the appropriate Lynx system equipment.
When should I choose the Lynx Class-T Power In?
Choose it when the design requires Class-T protection for one or two high-current lithium battery strings. The correct fuse rating must be calculated for the battery, cable and system.
Are the fuses included?
No. MEGA fuses for the Distributor and Class-T fuses for the Class-T Power In are purchased separately. Power In has no integrated fuse positions.
Can I connect M10 modules to an older M8 Lynx system?
Not directly. Confirm the busbar interconnection format across the complete system before ordering. Do not modify a module or connection unless Victron's current documentation explicitly approves the method.
Does the Lynx Distributor monitor battery state of charge?
No. It monitors its four fuse positions. Battery monitoring or lithium battery management requires compatible equipment such as a Lynx Shunt VE.Can or the appropriate Lynx Smart BMS, depending on the system.
Can a Lynx module be used by itself?
Yes, certain Lynx Power In, Class-T Power In and Distributor configurations can operate without a Lynx Smart BMS, provided the complete system has the required fusing, monitoring and protection. The design must follow Victron's current manuals.
