The Victron Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Battery Charger Isolated range is designed for charging an auxiliary or house battery from a vehicle alternator or another DC source where electrical isolation between the input and output side is required or preferred.
Isolated DC-DC chargers are commonly used where the source and house battery systems need separation, or where the installation design requires isolated input and output negatives. Select the model by matching the source battery voltage, target battery voltage and required charging current.
Remote control accessory: If the remote on/off signal is referenced to the secondary battery or a lithium BMS, use the Victron Orion-Tr isolated DC-DC charger remote cable.
Important: DC-DC charger selection should be matched to the battery chemistry, alternator output, cable sizing, fuse protection, isolation requirements and the overall electrical design.
