The Victron Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Battery Charger Non-Isolated range is designed for charging an auxiliary or house battery from a vehicle alternator or another DC source where a common negative between input and output is acceptable.
Available configurations cover 12V, 24V and 48V systems, including 24V-to-48V and 48V-to-12V models. Select the model by matching the source battery voltage, target battery voltage and required charging current.
Non-isolated DC-DC chargers are commonly suited to vehicle, caravan and RV systems where the installation uses a shared negative or ground arrangement.
Important: DC-DC charger selection should be matched to the battery chemistry, alternator output, cable sizing, fuse protection and the overall electrical design.
