The Rich Solar RS-PWM30P is a 30A PWM solar charge controller for compatible 12V or 24V caravan, RV and off-grid battery systems. This unit is unused and was removed from a new caravan imported from the USA. It is supplied without its original retail box, making it a practical replacement option when the electrical specifications match your system.
Important compatibility checks
- Positive-ground controller: confirm your solar and battery system uses the required grounding arrangement before ordering.
- PWM technology: this is a PWM controller, not an MPPT controller.

Frequently asked questions
Is this an MPPT solar controller?
No. The RS-PWM30P uses PWM charging. Choose it only when PWM technology and its electrical limits suit your solar array and battery system.
Can it charge a lithium battery?
The manufacturer lists a lithium charging profile. Confirm the selected settings are compatible with your battery manufacturer's requirements and battery management system.
Will it replace my existing caravan solar controller?
It may suit systems that require the same 30A PWM, 12V/24V and positive-ground configuration. Check the existing model, wiring arrangement, solar input voltage and installation space before purchase.
Can it be installed outside?
No. The IP30 enclosure requires a dry, protected installation location.
